Starting tips
-------------

After the "accident", you will discover a scientist giving CPR to a security guard. Wait 15 to 20 seconds to see the outcome, which usually results in the security guard being revived. He is not useful at this time, but return to him after getting the crowbar. Kill him with the crowbar so he can not fire back to get his gun and ammunition.

Soon after this, you will ride an elevator upward. Have the gun ready. Shoot the monster attacking the security guard; a couple of shots should do it. This security guard can cover you until you reach the main entrance area.

One important tactic in the early game is to use your "allies" to your advantage. When you no longer require the services of a security guard, kill him and take his ammunition. A scientist is also useful in drawing enemy attack. Be careful not to harm an ally when another security guard is present, as he will attack you. Also be aware that monsters can sense your allies; and even if you crawl, monsters can hear your allies' walk.

The beginning of the game also has the following glitch. There is a scientist sitting in front of a damaged instrument panel, in the area of the first scientist who opened a door for you. This scientist is invincible. You can shoot or beat him with a crowbar, and all he will do is whine. This also saturates the area with a large amount of blood.

Saving ammunition
-----------------

Do not waste precious pistol ammo on headcrabs. Use your crowbar, as it is more useful.

Using the pistol
----------------
Use the following trick to save ammo for all guns other than pistol. Most creatures or persons can be killed with five or less direct shots of the pistol.

Crabs: 2 shots or 1 crowbar hit
Zombies: 4 shots
Electric Aliens: 3 shots
Trip Bomb: 1 shot
Machinegun on stand: 5 shots
Soldiers: 5 shots
Dogs: 3 shots
Spitters: 4 shots

Using guards
------------

If you have a guard, get him close enough and he will take care of almost anything for you. The only time you ever need to fire is if the creature is close to the guard.

Barney gets cut in half
-----------------------

When you enter the room where the lasers are shooting out the walls, run through. There should be a Barney (security officer) on the floor. Watch carefully and you can see the laser go across and literally cut him in half.

Glitch: Floating doctor in wheelchair
-------------------------------------

Note: This trick requires a second player. When playing a Decay game with another player, get to the Rift level. When the handicapped doctor tells you to follow him and opens the door, do as he says. He will get in the elevator. Block his path so he cannot get in the elevator, but the door is open. Next, back up slightly and let him enter. Get behind him and run forwards while the other player pushes you from behind. The doctor should start to go down, and the door has closed on you, but it is still open. Jump frequently and press Forward quickly. If you jump onto the safety bar where the top of the other door is, he will get to the bottom of the elevator.

If you stand on the bar, and he gets to the bottom, then he will launch back up and will float in the air. You cannot kill him with a regular gun from below. You must shoot him with the bazooka or from above to kill him.

Glitch: Man in blue
-------------------

Enable the "Alien mode" code and start a new game. Go through the hall past the main security room and go straight instead of right. A short way down that hall is the man wearing the blue suit. Use your electric attack to break the window and jump in. If you try to attack the man with the blue suit, it will not work.

Glitch: Dead guard talks
-------------------------

After the experiment goes awry, go get the crowbar and come back to the place where the scientist is performing CPR on the dead guard. If you smack the guard with your crowbar, he will talk.

------------------

Knock out the thug at the start of the level. You should see the glowing item on the left when you start. Climb the ladder and jump/glide around the crate onto the other crate. Then,glide onto the platform with the letter.

Gasworks: Envelope E
--------------------

You will reach a room with two levels, each floor with two goons on them. First, take out the goons. Then, look around on the lower floor until you see a sewer pipe with boxesin the sewage. Carefully glide down and land on the first box. Jump over the next few boxes and pick up the envelope with an "E" on it. Finish the game and the "Infinite Health" cheat will be unlocked.

Plant Electrocution 2: Envelope C
--------------------------------

You will start the Plant Electrocution 2 level by sliding down towards some holes in the ground. The second hole is not fatal. Fall into it and glide (to avoid minor damage). You willsee a lit area. Glide down there and pick up the item you find inside. Use the grapnel to exit, jump out of the hole, and finish the slide. The item you picked up should be the key do the door right beside the vines behind the glass. Go inside and fight one of the "Plant Men". You will find an envelope that has a "C" on it in the room. When you finish the game, you can activate this cheat for all weapons and unlimited ammunition.

Rooftop Battle: Envelope A
--------------------------

When the clowns chase Mary, you will go up to the rooftops. Grapple hook up to her roof and beat up the white clown. Go up to the next roof, where you are on a little balcony. Jumpacross, then go in to see a thug run across a hall with the girl. Follow and he will jump off the roof. Follow, look down, and drop to lowest edge. Walk along to left until at the corner the grapple icon appears Grapple over, go in the door and pick up Envelope A.

SWAT Chase: Envelope D
----------------------

You will enter the elevator shaft. Ride the elevator all the way down until it stops. Get off the elevator and wait for it to rise again. After it rises, jump down to the bottom and use first person mode to find the control box.

Use a Batarang to disable it and the door behind it will open. Stay clear of the elevator and wait for the correct time to get in the open room. Inside the room is "Secret Key 2." Get out of the room and ride the elevator up to the top. At the top there is a door that is supposed to be locked. The key opens the door, and inside is an envelope with the letter "D" on it. Finish the game and the "Infinite Special Move Bar" cheat will be unlocked.

Mortal Kombat II

Fight Jade:

When you are at the match that is right before the '?' on the match chart, you can fight Jade if the following steps are taken. One of the rounds must be won using only Low Kicks and the Directional Pad. The other round can be won normally. Once you meet all those requirements, you will fight Jade at 'Goro's Lair'.

Fight Noob Saibot:
------------------

When in a 2 player game, you can fight Noob Saibot if the following steps are taken. 50 matches must be won in a row. All of those 50 matches must be won in 2 player mode. Once you meet all these requirements, you will fight Noob Saibot at 'Goro's Lair'.

Fight Smoke:
------------

When fighting on 'The Portal Stage' in a 1 or 2 player game, you can fight Smoke if the following steps are taken. Dan Forden must appear at the bottom of the screen and yell 'Toasty!'. Down and Start must be held at the same time right after you see Dan Forden. Once you meet all these requirements, you will fight Smoke at 'Goro's Lair'. Notes - Dan Forden will only appear after an uppercut. His appearance after an uppercut is random though.

Make opponent slide off the spikes:
-----------------------------------

On the kombat tomb stage (the one with spikes all over the ceiling) when it's time to finish the opponent, do your character's stage fatality command, then as soon as the "du du duuuu" music starts, hold DOWN on player 1 and player 2's joystick until the opponent starts to slide off the spikes.

No Throws option:
-----------------

If you are playing against a human opponent. You have the option of no throws. To do this Hold D+HP on both joysticks before the match begins. If successful it will say ''Throwing Disabled.''

Oh Wow! After performing a Stage Fatality on 'The Dead Pool Stage', you can hold Down and Block to hear Dan Forden say 'Oh Wow!'.

Go online or play with friends locally, and have a guitarist, bassist, and drummer. Make sure all players' Overdrives are filled to the maximum. Have the drummer go first and activate Overdrive. Just before his or her meter runs out, have the guitarist activate his or hers. Just before his or hers ends, have the bassist activate his or hers. Each player will keep it going during the duration of the song, earning as you burn overdrive. Pay attention to each others' meters. At the end of the song, you will get the achievement.

Easy "Band Savior" trophy:
--------------------------

Play with at least two other people. Have one band member fail two times and the other band member fail one time, and save them each time to get the achievement.

Easy "Flawless Singing" trophy:
-------------------------------

Go to Quick Play or Tour mode, and select "So Watcha Want" by the Beastie Boys on the Expert difficulty. When the song starts, put the microphone up to your speaker(s), and hold it there for the duration of the song. The only thing you will have to do is yell to activate Overdrive when it appears and tap the microphone for the solo parts. At the end of the song, you will have a 100% rank and gold stars. Note: Make sure your volume is loud enough. For just a goldstar, select "Give It Away" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and do the same thing. You will get a 99% rank without singing. If you want a 100% rank on that song, you must be able to hit the last phrase in the song.

Easy "Million Point Club" trophy:
---------------------------------

Select "Foreplay/Longtime" by Boston. Two players must be able to play on the Expert difficulty and one player on at least the Medium difficulty. Finish the song with at least 97% each, and you will have well over a million points.

Easy "Victory" trophy:
----------------------

Select Score Duel or Tug Of War mode. Plug in a second instrument, and just play one to get the achievement.

Unlock All Songs:
-----------------

Peng is a treasure found in the Hangar in between the two sidewalks. As you leave the Kellion for the first time, look over the railing to your LEFT. There is a small statue lying on the ground. You need KINESIS to get it, so you can't grab it until Chapter 11. IMPOSSIBLE MODE Beat the game on any difficulty, save your game, and start a new game. Choose IMPOSSIBLE MODE, then play until you save your game at a kiosk (in a new slot if you like).
The important thing to note is that impossible mode will not remain unlocked if you do not save a game that is playing in impossible mode.

Finding Hidden Shops

Look at road signs around the city. They often have colored shapes (yellow triangles, etc.) to guide the way to the shops or other important buildings. Also, look for street-lights casting a colored glow. This indicates that there is a shop very close.

To quikly fill up you Nitrous meter before a race, simply turn while holding down the handbreak and accellerate and you will do a 360, which give you 400 points. You can do this up to three times Cool Hydraulics Move

Going at medium speed, start trying to drive in a cirlce. Every half turn, press r1.. keep doing this about 6 or so spins, the driver will automatically go and do some sick hydro moves. The camera will also change positions.

NFS Underground 2 Glitches
============================
Hydraulics + Hangtime
-----------------------
After you have equipped your car (or SUV) with Hydraulics (Level 1, 2, or 3 will work) pull up to another vehicle or a wall and hold the R1 button and move your Left Analog Stick up and down in a rhythmic fashion to get your car rocking up and down (not bouncing). If you are close enough to the obstacle in front of you, your car will shoot straight up into the
air, sometimes doing outrageous flips and spins. Once airbourne, release all the buttons, and if your car has soared into the sky parallel with the ground, "Hangtime" points will start to add up, sometimes 400+ Not very purposeful, but rather hilarious to watch. At the very least, you are refilling your nitrous/racebreaker. *Works in Online mode also*

Pop a wheelie (or a reverse wheelie)
-------------------------------------
Once your vehicle's Hydraulics have been upgraded to Level 3, if you are in a rear-wheel-drive vehicle, get your front end to bounce continuosly by double tapping and then holding the R1 button (handbrake) and pushing up on the Left Analog Stick a few times. You should now be able to release the R1 button and your RWD car (or SUV) should continue to bounce its front end.
Having your transmission set to manual for best results, rev your motor all the way up and then shift into 1st gear. If your timing was right, your car will surge forward and pop a wheelie at the same time. Using nitrous once you shift into 1st gear will give you better results and may allow you to shift gears a few times before your car's front end drops back to the ground. You may flip over backwards if you take off too fast. With a front-wheel-drive
car, simply get the rear hydraulics of your car bouncing and use reverse to pop a wheelie going backwards. You may have to rock your car back and forth by switching between forward and reverse throttle, but with the right touch, your FWD car should be able to do this trick also (going backwards of course), even though much less dramatic compared to going forward in a RWD car. You can have your car flip over in reverse also, or it may stand on its nose. This is not very purposeful, besides having other players (online) wondering how you popped a wheelie off the line. Sometimes you can "jump" other cars using this glitch, but during a race, you probably will not have enough time to go through all the steps. Worth a few laughs at least, and as said before, will keep other players (online) wondering...

Combining regular or hood vinyls with unique vinyls.
------------------------------------------------------
1. Clear all the vinyls off your car or set the vinyls up exactly the way you want WITHOUT using any uniques.
2. Once you have the regular or hood vinyls set up the way you want, install them.
3. Go back into the vinyls menu and select the Unique vinyl you want and install it. Once you install it, both the unique and regular vinyls will be installed at the same time. This allows you to combine the unique vinyls that actually look good, with at least some sort of hood vinyls or body vinyls that make it a complete set. This also raises your car's Star level higher than using just regulars or just uniques, so it makes it far easier to get to 10 stars.

Camera Glitch
---------------
When you crash into a car you will be presented with a slow motion cinematic display. Press the "Start" button to enter the pause menu, pressing the button again will resume the game, but this time you will see the camera change positions (behind the car) and you'll still be in slow motion. This can be used towards your advantage however as this command is entered
you can prevent yourself from tumbbling, or tilting the car, and land safetly back on the blacktop.

Take your car and drive it so that it's front bumper is nice and flat against the wall(if you look from the top it should look like a T ). Now use hydros and wiggle the left analog stick from left to right. Do this a few times and your car should go flying high into the air.
If it doesn't work you aren't touching the wall nicely.
